Training

Mt. Hermon Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to training to improve the service to the community and the surrounding areas.  Members of Mt. Hermon are encouraged to become certified and maintain their certifications in the following areas.

CPR
Firefighter I
Hazardous Materials  Awareness
EVOC
EMT-B

All members are required to obtain certification in the following:

Mt. Hermon is fortunate to have instructors that are able to teach our members in the areas noted above.  Members are encouraged to further their training in the following areas as well.

Vehicle Extrication 
Emergency Medical Care
